Why back when when I lived in another country and was another person I met a young man. He was a bit older then me, only a couple years I believe, but there was something that struck me back then that made me see he has more depth then others.
The day we met we didn’t know what life paths we take and that we even be friends but today I am super grateful we are. Our friendship evolved from young exploring what the world has to offer to wiser outlook of reflection on what we learned along the way. Our friendship which was one of many that went by the waste side because of life’s movies but got reunited with a simple Facebook search. What is amazing years of not talking and the random likes or comment on FB to today discover we are on similar paths of discovery even have used some of the same teachings to learn.
Today he said such a profound statement I wanted to recovered it
“Takers don’t care. They are hurt humans!”
It is such a simple statement but so true. Takers are in their wounded selves it doesn’t excuse what they do but it is up to us to recognize and remember to not to give up ourselves in response to their expected needs.
Don’t give up yourself because as much as they feel they deserve it, it doesn’t mean a giver has to give in all circumstances.
