I look at you from the outside a woman who looks like she has it all but on the inside just a little girl who is hurt. That woman decides to be strong for the little girl who is on the inside. She tries to protect that little girl but feels she has failed the little girl. The older woman is at a loss, a crazy loss because she believes in others but others fail her and fail the little girl inside.
Both the woman and the little girl have been hurt so many times over and over, by people who promise to be there but in the end, run, run with their tails in their legs. They run when they gain the woman and the little girl’s trust. It is a pattern that happens so often to the woman and little girl insider her. It happens so often it feels it is cased in cement.
Why doesn’t the woman and little girl not deserve to be loved, as they love back? Why does the universe remind them over and over to not believe in a connection, in love, in an emotional connection that will last? How often do they need to get back up from falling?
Someone give me the answer.
