Ex husband stuff. ALL of it.
Jewelry that has no meaning.
Anything financially related that’s over 7 years old.
Anything ex-employee related that’s over 4 years old.
Anything that is not worth repairing. Or that I even want to repair.
Furniture that my friend gave me in 2000. That I loved, and no longer want.
If it isn’t 100% necessary for business, or something that fits, or brings me joy, or that I truly WANT to keep, it’s going.
And no, I didn’t read the book by the Japanese lady.
This was NOT easy for me to clear out before. In fact, I often used a physical house move as a reason to get rid of stuff. It was always chaotic, and last minute, and never complete, and quite emotional.
If not during a move, then I required help to do it (and still prefer to have someone there while I’m doing it, however…)
Now it’s like a clearing genie appeared and POOF I’m getting rid of stuff. All by myself!!!
No reason, other than it is now officially ok to allow things that have had their time, to go. There is literally ZERO “need” for them.
OMG it’s so freeing!!!
